Finally some good news for us starting on Monday you won’t need a prescription/referral to receive a massage

With the most recent government announcements, the restrictions for massage therapists are still in place for at least another couple weeks. This means that all appointments will need to have either a doctor prescription (within the last 12 months) or referral from a regulated healthcare professional. Unfortunately these restrictions could be in place for longer than stated and it’s so important to look after ourselves and even more so now! Please cal your Dr’s office as some are doing phone appointments and prescriptions. Or check out the list of healthcare providers that can write you a referral. Great news June 19 is the day!!! I will be returning to my mostly regular schedule starting Friday June 19. As much as I had a high standard of cleaning prior to this I have stepped it up more for the protection of everyone. I will have hand sanitizer in the room as well as disposable face masks if anyone is wanting to wear one during their appointment. I will be wearing a mask and changing my scrub top between clients and from now on I will have an additional form ...to be signed prior to your session. I am so excited to see everyone again and hopefully we can all enjoy a little distressing after these last few crazy months. Stage 1 is starting in Alberta tomorrow and hopefully that means stage 2 (including massage therapy) isn’t too far behind. I’ve missed seeing all of you and hope that it won’t be long before we can get back to our new normal. I will keep everyone up to date with what I know as I get the information regarding start date, PPE, regulations etc. from my association and until then I hope you are all enjoying the sun and extra family time.
