Price change Effective Sept 1st Effective September 1st, the prices of massage at Ki Massage will become the following: 30 Minute Massage Treatment = $55.00 tax incl.... 45 Minute Massage Treatment = $70.00 tax incl. 60 Minute Massage Treatment = $85.00 tax incl. 90 Minute Massage Treatment = $130.00 tax incl. 120 Minute Massage Treatment = $170.00 tax incl. Our price change had originally been intended to take effect June 1st, but it turns out the universe had other plans, mainly the COVID-19 pandemic. We decided that it was more important to make sure our patients were able to transition comfortably to the new norm before we did any big changes. We absolutely appreciate and are grateful for how wonderful and accepting everyone has been with the new protocols and procedures. Without the cooperation of our amazing patients, we definitely wouldn't be operating as smoothly as we have in this new social climate. Hi everyone, We hope everyone has been staying safe and doing well during these difficult times. Firstly, we want to take a moment to thank every one of you for doing your part during this pandemic. Whether that means continuing to work an essential job, or staying home from a non-essential post, or practicing proper hand washing and keeping your distance. Thank you, so much. You make us very proud to be part of the wonderful Sarnia-Lambton community.... Three weeks ago, we had hoped that it would be safe to reopen our doors by April 6th, but unfortunately that is not the case. In order to keep our patients safe, we are waiting until the government gives us a date for when it is advised to continue working with the public. It has been very tough for us to not be able to provide all of our patients with the quality care and treatment that we are accustomed to. Please know that it is absolutely with your best interest in mind that we stay out of operation. When the government deems it safe to do so, we will be resuming clinic activities and continuing to provide massage therapy treatment. We are awaiting this moment very eagerly, and will probably be seen shouting from rooftops with excitement when that day finally arrives. In order to make that day a reality sooner, everyone at Ki Massage is practicing physical distancing by staying home, washing our hands regularly, and only leaving the house for essentials. We do these things to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and of course to make sure we can be back in the office with our patients as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone for having such great patience in these times.

Now, more than ever, it’s important to reach out and help everyone in the community. If you can donate, check out what time and day the volunteers are in your area. All you have to do is leave the canned goods on your porch with your porch light on. We will all get through this together!

Hello everyone! We are excited to announce we are now accepting appointments with past clients and those who are in pain and needing a treatment. To keep everyone safe, we are working on a reduced schedule. Since reopening, we have added an even more thorough cleaning protocols to our already robust regimen. We will be wearing a mask during treatment and in the main areas of our office, and we are also asking that clients do the same. If you have a cloth mask you can bring fr...om home, that would work perfectly. If not, we have cloth and paper masks available. We are also switching our online booking and note taking to a new program and going paperless. We are sharing our new booking link here first, and will update the website in the following days. COVID 19 & Massage Therapy Update - May 28, 2020 First of all we would like to thank all our valued clients for their patience and support over the last two months. These have been confusing times and we would like to clarify as much as we can about the announcement made yesterday and how it pertains to Ki Massage. On Wednesday, May 27th the Ontario Government and the Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health have provided a new directive for Regulated Health Professionals that... allow for a gradual restart of services to be carried out with adherence to guidance from each health professions regulatory college. The directive includes Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) under the guidance of our College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). We want to clarify that this announcement was a general statement which means not all Regulated Health Professionals will be opening at the same time or at the same rate (or at all, for now). The CMTO encourages limiting the number of in-person visits by prioritizing clients with essential care needs. Our first priority as Massage Therapists is to the health and safety of ourselves, our families and our clients and to ensure that the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks. We have just begun to receive direction on practices and procedure guidelines that will need to be put in place before we can open safely. These include, but are not limited to, the pre-screening of clients before every treatment, increased frequency of handwashing & cleaning practices, increased signage, documentation and record keeping of practices, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face masks for myself and clients and additional health & safety training. Please remain patient as implementation of these guidelines and the obtaining of sufficient PPE due to shortages can be a lengthy process. As we have stated before, the health & safety of ourselves, our families and all of our clients is our top priority. We are anticipating a return date of June 8th, and will be in contact with you soon to assess your treatment needs. Thank you again for all of your support during this time. As many of you are aware, on March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization officially declared the coronavirus (known as COVID-19) a pandemic, which is defined as the worldwide spread of a new disease. This has impacted our community in many different ways with cancellations, shutting down of facilities, and most recently the closing of our public schools. We can imagine that many of you are feeling overwhelmed as you figure out schedules and your own familys course of actio...n. As we work together through this pandemic, we wanted to address two issues with you: 1. health + safety, and 2. scheduling of appointments. First and foremost, we would like you to be comfortable coming in for your massage, and know that in our profession as RMTs, sanitation and hand washing are a large part of the protocols that we regularly follow as healthcare workers. We do ask that in order to protect yourself and others, anyone who is feeling unwell (fever, dry cough, or difficulty breathing) refrain from visiting us, so that together we can ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone. We are also aware of the difficulty that is presented to many of you with the closing of schools, etc. If you are unable to make your appointments due to scheduling conflicts, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate a time that is suitable. If there is not a time that you see available through the online booking system, we would like to encourage you to contact us directly, and together we can find a fitting time to continue your treatment. Ultimately our goal is to help bring wellness to you, both physically and mentally. If there is anything that we can do as your RMTs during this time, please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to discuss next steps with you. Please refer to the CDC and the Canada Health Agency websites for factual and timely information and updates on the current situation. Stay smart, safe, and remember, we are all in this together. We have done our best this past year to accommodate as many different schedules and times as we could. We look forward to continuing to do so, as our biggest concern is making sure you get the care you need. If you are having trouble finding an appointment time that works for you, please get in to...uch and we will do our best to accommodate a certain time. Effective June 1, our rates will change to the following: 30 minutes: $50 with tax included 45 minutes: $65 with tax included 60 minutes: $80 with tax included 90 minutes: $115 with tax included 120 minutes: $160 with tax included Amys Hot Stone massage will remain $5 more per each half hour, with a 60 minute hot stone being $85 and a 90 minute being $130. Melanies Indie Head Massage will be the same price as a 45 minute treatment at $65. Our commitment for the coming year is to continue learning and to heighten the level of improvement you achieve during your massage treatments.
