Following the recommendations of the public health department, it is with the heaviest heart I have decided to temporarily close the clinic space due to the risk of COVID-19. I feel it's part of my responsibility as a Registered Massage Therapist to help "flatten the curve" and ensure the health and safety of our community. The health & safety of my clients, our families & community is the top priority at my clinic location. I am posting to ensure clients understand the Public Health Standard for infection control of a Registered Massage Therapist’s as a Regulated Professional. The guidelines of a Registered Massage Therapist with the province of Newfoundland & Labrador is to follow the standards put in place by the Chief Medical Officer of Health for the province of Newfoundland & Labrador. I a...lways ensure the safety of the public as well as my own. Routine cleaning and sanitizing of clinic area and office space is followed by the guidelines as a regulated professional, always. I will continue to take all necessary preventive infection control measures against the spread and/or contamination of all infectious diseases including COVID-19. As a Health Care Professional, I am asking my clients to do theirs.
