Feet tend to be very scary for many/ most beginners (and a few more experienced too). Here's a gif to show you how the foot builds up from the skeleton (most essential to understand) to the form just below the skin. Most importantly, don't let it overwhelm you. It's really just a bunch of sticks and string: puppetry. ... Keep it simple and keep it fun!

Excellent resource and studies

Back in March I posted some studies of a sculpture from the ROM. I said there was lots to learn from them. Well it's now a workshop "Learning from the Gods" Yesterday was an intro to future workshops and the turnout was great. Thank you to everyone who came. Future workshops to be announced.
