What works? What doesn't work? Like Shakespeare, 'Those are the questions'. Currently in conjunction with my online teaching I'm mentoring two teacher candidates. (Love their enthusiasm and excitement for teaching. An inspiration.) As part of their work I've shared a strategy that was given to me by a former running coach.: What works? What doesn't work? And that's all it took to remind me:... http://www.masterthemoments.ca/what-works-what-doesnt-work/

Action Comes Before Motivation. Debatable? No. 1st Need-to-Know: Statements such as 'Which comes first, the chicken or the egg?' are definitely debatable. If you are a person who likes to ‘debate at high volume’ i.e., argue, the chicken or egg question is a grand opportunity to fine-tune your argumentative skills. Dear Readers, Many times in recent months I have felt the weight of seeing those never-ending posts of advice. Words like inundated and saturated, even over-saturated best describe the feeling. (Don't forget the possibility of News Overload.) How about that new world of Zoom? Zoom-workouts, Zoom-meetings, Zoom-greetings even Zoom-what-not-to-be-eating. All much too much! I did not want to join that deluge and chose to be the silent absentee blogger. [ 459 more words ] http://www.masterthemoments.ca/the-absentee-blogger-returns/

In spite of recent snow (not what we hope for in April of any year), overlooking the blustery chilling NW winds, and moving past the unpredictable weather of late, spring continues to bloom. We saw it first with the small yellow blossoms of winter aconite rising through the snow. Then snowdrops added white, crocus brushed in hues of violet and orange. Dear readers, I've copied this '3-2-1' post idea from James Clear. (You can check him out at jamesclear.com) 3 Worthy Considerations: 2 Wise Sayings: (My father always warned me about giving advice. So I am calling this 'Wise Sayings') ~'Beware don't Compare': Aren't we the fortunate ones to have connection through cyberspace? For many of us it is the fragile thread linking us to our friends and family. [ 115 more words ] http://www.masterthemoments.ca/3-2-1-worthy-considerations/
