A little water damage! Didn't get pictures before I ripped what ever was left of wall studs out next to the window.

A big thank you to Steve Nuttall owner of Tanglewood Mechanical for finding the time to help with the head gasket and valve job on the company rig. I did the tear down. He did all the important stuff and I finished it up. At 550,000 km it was due for both. All back up and running better than ever. Quality work, fair price, great guy with tons of knowledge and experience.

Installed some beautiful Northstar windows today. They come with a transferable lifetime warranty. The one 6'x10' is the biggest I have installed until now. Tomorrow siding. We are still missing 1 window which will be in next week to finish the job all up.

The job is coming along well. A total home exterior transformation. We have removed the old aluminum siding. Framed out 2 second story windows in the addition to leave in some light. The Addition was already framed with almost all the aspenite on by someone else. Framed in two patio doors to create windows. Still have 6 windows to install when they arrive. The house got wrapped in the proper rigid insulation, in the proper manner not to have any mold issues. (Yes it matters ...what type you put on depending on what is in you exterior wall system) We also aluminum capped all existing windows and doors that are staying and its getting all new soffit, fascia, and siding. We even ran into 26 feet of rotten rim joist needing replacing from water infiltration at old deck locations. Here is a few pictures of where we started and where we are at now. 1-2 more week and we should be close to wrapping it up. Its gonna look like a 2020 new build when done.

Finished up a beautiful 16' x 16' pressure treated deck with privacy lattice. Some very happy clients. They couldn't wait to get the patio furniture on the deck. They have a little bit of landscaping and some flower beds to do. I suggested a good reputable landscaping company. SD&G Landscaping

Removed some old shingels on this garage and put on some Americana tin by ideal roofing. The client should be good for a lifetime without re-roofing. I also aluminum covered and caulked one of his door frames as the rain was taking a toll on the bottom of the wood frame on the two center post. He just needs to paint it to match. And I installed a small basic roof to keep ice and snow from building up over his HVAC unit.

All ready for the new season. Was a rough finish to 2019. We are ready to take on 2020!!! Book your projects now. Here is a video that I hope offers a little advice to the average homeowner about hiring a contractor for any project. You get what you pay for just like everything else in life.

If anyone see's my truck please call the ottawa police. It was parked in a park and pay parking lot just north west of the new trades building at algonquin college. It was taken friday 6th of September. I had a lot of my tools in it required to make my living. Its not mint but was a reliable tank. They are old pictures prior to finishing drivers rocker. Still has the green drivers door. Now has a rust free blue passengers door. Was going to have it painted before winter. Ple...ase, please share!! I would love to get it back if its not wrecked.

Started my friday like every other teaching at algonquin college. Parked my truck at 8 am. Got back out at 5:50 pm and this is what i found. I had about $3000+ of contractor tools locked in the truck and back aluminum box. Plus the truck.... So depressing. Bust my ass all year just to have some low life take you down in a few hours. Uuhhhh!!!

What a beautiful morning on site. We finished the cedar deck. Owner didn't finish staining all the boards. Looks great. We always make sure to go the extra mile to protect the clients investment and insure it will last many years to come. We picked up a radious ground level deck as well for the client we should have it completed tomorrow.

We got the timber framing up for the second story cottage deck today. It went pretty good and i am very happy with it. Tomorrow the decking.

Finished a total back yard project a few days ago. Some fence sections. A deck on grade and a covered side future entrance to there house.
