MathPickle's Jumping Frogs puzzle provided an unPlugged Computer Science lesson in 1st Grade today. Students used color tiles as abstract frogs and worked together to create a program to move all the frogs onto the same lilypad. They discovered patterns and symmetry within their solutions.

Animal Subtraction... This classic 1967 problem is essential for every child learning 11-3 = 7 and the like ;-)
