MATRIX is currently seeking a seasonal (summer) Expeditor. You will be responsible for the organization and delivery of goods ...to our client’s worksites. The Expeditor will be reporting to the Buyer and working directly with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure the timely acquisition and flow of all purchased materials to the jobsite. This is a fulltime seasonal (summer) position located in Terrace, BC. Responsibilities: Ensure Inventory, purchasing and receiving information is processed, up to date, accessible and accurate. Verify receipt of material, checking all incoming shipments packing slips against the original purchase order indicating shortages, delays, back orders, or revised ship dates. Resolve shipment errors or shortages with the buyer. Meet our client’s deliverables on expediting suppliers/materials to the appropriate job site. Adhoc administration and general labour duties in the yard may be warranted from time to time based on deadlines. Required Knowledge & Experience Minimum of 1-2 years working in customer service Proficiency in Microsoft Office The successful candidate will be detail orientated, organized, able to multitask, and thrives in a fast-paced working environment. Previous experience working in warehouse, transportation, or retail industry an asset Preferred Licensing & Certifications: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean drivers abstract required. Job Requirements: MATRIX is looking for experienced Core Cutters as soon as possible, so if you are team oriented, motivated person with an attention for details. This position reports to the Camp Manager. Responsibilities:... Core Cutting. Support geological and geophysical programs. Participate in site orientation. Participate in daily Toolbox meetings. Participate in Mock Medivac when scheduled. Support monthly worksite inspections. Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures. Ensure good housekeeping in the work area at all times. Ensure field staff has all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for tasks being conducted on site. Complete timesheets and submit to camp manager for approval by the 10th and the 25th of every month. Notify Camp Manager of unsafe practices and unsafe environment. Report all incidents and accidents immediately. Actively participate as a high performing, team member. Required Knowledge & Experience Minimum of one (1) year working in a core cutting position. Solid verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work a rotation schedule. Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule. Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Able to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor. Ability to maintain a high level of performance over a 10 12-hour shift.
