I want to make a difference! Let's make a difference!! With everything going on this year, mental health has taken a toll on people around the world. Covid restricted us from seeing each other, seeking the help we need and even just hugging one another. I too have struggled with mental health as a child, teen and young adult. The past years suicide rates suggest 4100+ deaths in 2020 pre-covid. I want to talk to you about ... Love Is ; Suicide Prevention This year would have been the 3rd annual event. My family, close friends and many volunteers help put this on every year around the middle of October. The event is a 250 ticket fundraiser which sells out every year. We have a live auction, silent auction and entertainment including a buffet dinner. Due to restrictions this year we weren't able to. Each year we as a community raise close to $40,000. I want this number to sky rocket in the future years. For the past week I've been thinking. I want to help as much as possible and people still need help. If we cant have the event I still want people to get the help. Matteh Plumbing will been collecting donations. I will be wearing new clothing donated by Rob @ Factory Direct to spread the word on how you can help. We will be selling gift certificates for plumbing services and all of the money collected will be donated. If you or anyone you know that would like to contribute please pm me. Live and Silent auction items can be donated later next year once we know the date of the event hoping everything has passed and is back to normal. Let's make a difference. Let's love each other.
