I'm not sure if this is for you, but this is a great read if you are interested in the real estate market. The good news is that prices most likely will not be increasing as aggressively as we've seen in 2020 and 2021. Plus, while it's still challenging to get a mortgage for first time home buyers, the stress test is remaining the same for now, which means at least it won't be any harder.

While the Ottawa market remains strong, we are seeing some unusual shifts in this crazy market. In a market where holding off on offers has become the norm, we have begun to see buyers push back on this strategy causing some sellers to need to adjust their marketing strategy. Fundamentally, we still have an inventory shortage, and we believe it will still be a seller’s market for some time. It is still valuable to work with a Real Estate Agent.
