As I wake up and I reflect on today, I try to remember that just over a 100 years ago people put their lives on the line for the greater good of today without even knowing what today would look like... Who cares your fast food order was messed up. Park, go inside, and ask for it to be fixed. Or that you have the wrong cord to charge your iPhone. Drive, walk or uber to the closet corner store and buy a new one for $12.99. Imagine being fresh out of high school and coming hom...e to have received a letter in the mail that you were going to war? Or watching on TV as a lottery for birth months determined your fate? I know that if I went to war to know that these would be first world problems of the modern world, naturally I would've said take a hike, only they did not have that option. So today I am not only taking a moment to pay respects but to reflect on how I live moving forward. No daily problem or stress even comes close to that.
