Staff Spotlight! We are excited to introduce June Harrow, Donor Stewardship Administrator. As a System Analyst with more than 20 years of experience, June joined the Matthews House team in July 2019 as our Donor Stewardship Administrator. She handles our donor database, every single donation, tax receipts, and other techy stuff. June describes her favourite MHH moment as her first time walking through the doors of Matthews House. This is the first place that I have work...ed that truly embodies their mission and vision. First time walking through the front doors, had an immediate impact. You could physically feel the kindness and warmth radiating from the house. Everyone who works here does so because they want to be here to make a difference in someone’s life. That is a very unique and refreshing environment to work in. I am very grateful to have this extended family. June wants to live in a world filled with peace, sci-fi movies, red wine and a force field around her keyboard that repels food crumbs. (This world sounds fantastic!) Matthews House Hospice and CHATS invite you to join us virtually to learn the risk factors of falls, tips on how to prevent falls, and how to safely get up in the event of a fall.
