It's been a minute, but while eating lunch today I actually posted to my website.
My website is out of commission while I work on a long-overdue portfolio update. Photographic styles and trends are evolving, for better or worse, constantly. This isn't just true for weddings or social media, but also photojournalism. Regardless of the current trend, a photographer's unique ability to see is what will set their work apart from the masses. I've been trying to take this pandemic seriously and adhere to the social distancing order as much as possible. As a result, this past weekend I stayed in and relaunched the blog portion of my website. I also wrote this post to accompany a photo series, called Watching Shadows, I created on Saturday. It's been a long time since I last sat down to write anything so I am feeling quite rusty. Be gentle.... Stay healthy.
