Last week, Maxim and International ended up feeding hundreds of truck drivers heading down the Trans-Canada highway. We just wanted to thank everyone who shared and supported this initiative, and of course, thank the truckers once more for the important work you do during these times. From April 7 to 9 (11 am to 3 pm), we will be handing out free meals to truck drivers who pass by our Brandon, Manitoba location (225 Middleton Ave, right off the Trans-Canada HWY). Due to Covid-19, many truck stops that truck drivers rely on are shut down, so Maxim and International decided something needed to be done. Truck drivers across this country are continuing to deliver the supplies our medical professionals, grocery stores and countless other essential services need... to help Canadians during these tough times - and this is a small token of our appreciation. This Sunday, we hosted Farmery Brewery at our Brookside location in Winnipeg. Theyre a terrific local company that truly embodies the phrase "making the best out of a bad situation."
