Good Evening Everyone! We forgot to post something last night and that is.. the new www.maximusyouth.com is live!!! Our new website contains all the old information and features it did before and much more. It can be easily viewed on smart phones, tablets, and desktops. It also meets Level AA of the #WCAG2 for world accessibility standards so it is accessible to those with most disabilities.... The few parts that aren't compliant are going to be corrected so not only our website benefits but it will be shared so the rest of all users around the globe can benefit from the corrections. Much thanks to Peter Matwyuk of Makawak Solutions for making ALL of this possible. He has dedicated and donated his time and resources to make this happen for us. He's so dedicated that any issues comments or feedback sent to [email protected] will go directly to him so it can be addressed immediately! So please go look, enjoy, and let us know what you think. A lot of time and hard work has gone into making this happen so we can get the web presence we deserve.

I GIGANTIC THANK YOU goes out to the Ottawa 67's, Graeme Ivory, and Head Coach, André Tourigny, for allowing our children/youth the privilege, opportunity and experience to get a private tour inside the 67s dressing room at TD Place Arena in Ottawa. A BIG THANK YOU also goes out to Nadine Levert-Langlois from Nadine's Photography and Nadine Langlois Life Coaching, for providing terrific photography services for our group. A special mention to April Meeks and Shoeless Joe’s Belleville for helping make this day a success and tons of fun for our kids/youth.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU goes out to Sandy Johnson from Kanata Dog Walking and to Stewart Johnson from TSN Studios in Toronto, for donating such amazing front row, behind the Tampa Bay Lightning bench seats to Maximus Youth Services, for last Saturday’s Ottawa Senators game at the Canadian Tire Centre. The youth had an amazing time! Thank you!

Hello Close Friends/Family: As many of you know, I am a former Ottawa 67's player/alumnus as I was a part of the team in the 2003-2004 season. As part of the 67s, 50th anniversary celebration, there will be an alumni ceremony on the ice at TD Place in Ottawa, before the game on Saturday, January 27th at 2pm vs the Kingston Frontenacs, to honour the players on the team from 1997-2007 seasons. ... This is significant for me as my hometown is Kingston and Kingston is where I played all of my minor hockey. The Kingston Frontenacs were also the team that I played one of my first ever OHL games against and first ever team win I experienced in a 67’s jersey. The 67s Alumni Office has graciously allowed me to bring as many friends and family to the game as I wish, with as many free tickets to the game as I need. If you would like to attend this game with me and my family, to reminisce some of the best days of my life, and one of the biggest accomplishments of my life, then please feel free to reach out to me, so that I can arrange tickets for you. If enough interest is generated then we can get a Highway Coach Bus and make a Maximus Road Trip out of the event Thank you! -Jason

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: I am doing a fundraiser at the Trenton Golden Hawks games this Friday, February 14th and Sunday February 16th. Both games are at 7pm so I need someone there with me by 6pm or so. I need help with the set up and tear down of our fundraising/display table as well as assistance with selling raffle tickets. I am also in need of help for a fundraiser at the Mississauga Steelheads OHL game on Monday, February 17th at 2pm. If anyone is available to come along with me for the day, I'd appreciate it. Lunch and dinner are on me.
