Looking for something fun this summer? MaxSPL Music will be offering a DJ Day Camp! Learn how to mix music in real time, build your own music with a foundation in MIDI programing, and more. Our first camp will run July 5th-9th 9am-130pm for ages 10-14 (more dates and age groups coming, please contact us for more information). $200 per student. Book before April 1st for a 10% discount! Students must have access to a laptop (Mac or PC), or an iPad (generic tablets may not suppo...rt some of the software we will be teaching with). Well, it has been a stressful couple of days but there are always some silver linings. Today we received our first Godin electric guitars.

MaxSPL Music is exploring an expansion to offer more services to local musicians and groups. We are hoping to open the new space in January or February with around 300 square feet (30x11), of available studio space. Our goal is to use this space for group lessons, recording, and rehearsal. If you are a local band, choir, or other group who would have use for a space like this please reach out to us. Dan here, I spoke to CBC today and will be speaking to CTV tomorrow about my disappointment that the mask bylaw did not pass last night. After watching businesses face backlash and boycotts over their mask rules it was my hope that a mandate would take the pressure off small businesses that either have mask rules or are considering adding them. Many will disagree with me, and that is fine. You may have your opinions but please respect mine.
