This is an NPS 34 Tether project our Pipeline Integrity group is working on in the Medicine Hat area - Pipe segments are cut out from a de-pressured line, Multi-purpose test heads are welded in place to assist the launching of the pig once tether run is completed and pulled back the heads are removed, and replacement pipe is welded back in place. After successful completion, the ditch excavation is filled back in and graded, then the site is returned back to the original state.
