Good morning, We are aware of Fleet street loosing all power this morning, as well as businesses that have yet to have power restored. Saskpower has dispatched... a crew to our community and we will know more once they can have a direct look at the issue that has resulted in power failures. We will update as information flows in. Thank you for your continued patience. Mayor Baschuk 306-425-9380

Good evening Air Ronge!!! Just a couple of quick things: The Village Office will be OPEN Friday for regular hours- Thanks Taylor ... Garbage cans can be placed curbside before 8am Friday morning, as we are providing an additional garbage pickup. The warmup shelter is still operating at the Uniplex to anyone requiring. Take care, Mayor Baschuk

Extra, Extra read all about it.......We are super excited to announce: ‘The Cessna Scoop’. Our council has incorporated a newsletter to go out to residents via Mail & online in May, July, September, November, January, and March. ... This is something residents have brought forth in the past at community meetings, and we are happy to finally make it a reality. A huge thank you to Councillor Burr for taking this initiative on. What a fun way to deliver information to each of you, and we look forward to seeing the growth of this newsletter. Mayor Baschuk

Just received an update from Saskpower officials that the power should be restored by 8-8:15p.m tonight. The crews ran into an issue but should be good to good within the hour or so. Keep your generators off and make sure your home is safe for the power to be on.

Effective 8:00am, May 4, 2021, eligibility in the provincial age-based immunization program moves to age 37 and older, except for residents living in the Northe...rn Saskatchewan Administration District, where it moves to age 18 and older. This applies to all immunization clinics: booked appointments, drive-thru/walk-in, mobile, and pharmacy. Approximately 8,000 appointments will be added to the Patient Booking System, effective 8:00am, May 4, 2021, for booked appointments at SHA clinics, in addition to pharmacy appointments, and drive-thru and walk-in clinics. Pharmacy immunization details can be found at www.saskatchewan.ca/covid19-pharmacies. Reminder to residents that clinic availability is based on vaccine availability, and demand for appointments outweighs the current supply. When age eligibility opens to a younger group appointments fill up fast, particularly in urban centres like Regina and Saskatoon. There may be additional clinic options in rural and northern communities, and residents are encouraged to consider those alternate locations for immunization.
