Thank you for all the work you do: mechanic, bookkeeper, vet, cleaner, soil specialist, animal breeder, gatherer, customer service, financial planner, and so much more. Without your dedication to the farm, the farm family and your community, we would be lost. ... Thank you for setting the example.

Thanksgiving is truly my favourite holiday. It is a time to stop, and give thanks for all the good things in our lives. There is always something to be thankful for. Despite our current challenges as a society, I’m extremely grateful to live in Canada and specifically in our township. We are surrounded by beauty and have benefits many communities do not have (hiking trails, Federal and Provincial Parks, and wonderful communities who take care of each other).... May you enjoy the sunshine today and appreciate the rain when it comes, as we need both to flourish. Happy Thanksgiving to one and all.

It’s my absolute pleasure to extend the Township’s best wishes to Leslie and Marjorie Running on their 70th Wedding Anniversary. Leslie Running was our Roads Superintendent for many years in the Front of Leeds and Lansdowne. He retired in 1994 and has been smiling and spreading joy with his wife ever since. They lived on Sandbay Road for decades. Marjorie and Leslie’s family held a COVID safe, drive-by Anniversary Party this past Saturday at their daughters home on ...Warburton Rd. Pop-Up testing continues this afternoon at the Lou Jeffries Arena in Gananoque until 6pm. After speaking with Chief Carass, Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service, they had processed well over 200 tests as of 1pm today. The line up is definitely not overwhelming compared to what we have seen recently in media reports at other testing centres in Eastern Ontario. It’s has run smoothly so far and people are not having to wait for hours to be tested. Thank you to Leeds Paramedic Services for organizing along with the Leeds, Grenville, and Lamarck District Health Unit to assist individuals and families in need of this testing to ensure they can send children to school, return to work themselves, or have the all clear to visit loved ones who may be immunocompromised. #thankyou #workingtogether #healthycommunities
