Hello everyone, I am incredibly overwhelmed by the hundreds of congratulated well wishes that have poured in the last 48 hours- I am truly blown away. Please forgive me as I am new to Facebook and still learning. I wish to thank you for all of the continuous support that you have given to me over the past eight weeks. I am thrilled about our new council, and I know Yorkton is in excellent hands with individuals full of experience, knowledge, and vision- prepared to take on th...e critical tasks in our new world. I will be taking my new role, as your mayor, and ambassador beginning on November 16th at 8:00 am. Being a mayor is a full-time commitment. Remembrance Day is an extra special day for our family. Each year growing up I would attend the ceremony at the cenotaph with my father who fought in WW11. This year it was an honor to lay the wreath on his behalf and the many other brave men who fought for our country. We will remember them always. Lest We Forget.
