This picture of me was taken nearly 4 years ago at a boxing event I was featured in The show was being sponsored by Everlast and without knowing I came with my Everlast boxers for the weigh ins...... With that being said today I'm part of Team Everlast Canada and I'm very greatfull that I've gotten this opportunity. I believe that we learn by practice. Whether it means to learn to dance by practicing dancing or to learn to live by practicing living, the principles are the same. I'm not one to be sharing whats really going on with the "Mayron Zeferino" on social media. But yesterday made it 1 year that I walked in to All Saints Kingsway Church for AA meetings. I wasn't a every day drinker but the decision I made when I was drunk was the problem. Honestly I could not ever have done this alone if it wasn't for my family and the tremendous support I got from everyone at All Saints Kingsway & the amazing group at High Park. My reason for coming out with... this post is to remind everyone that we are all fighting a battle that others don't know about and im hoping with this I can help people just like myself that might be going through the same or worse situation who are afraid to come out. PLEASE IF YOU KNOW ANYONE THAT IS FIGHTING A BATTLE WITH ALCOHOL OR DRUG ABUSE DONT GIVE UP ON THEM THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE OUT HERE WHO ARE DEALING WITH THESE PROBLEMS AND NEED HELP... Mas ontem completou 1 ano que entrei na Igreja All Saints Kingsway para as reuniões de AA. Eu não bebia todos os dias, mas a decisão que tomei quando estava bêbada foi o problema. Honestamente, eu não poderia ter feito isso sozinho se não fosse por minha família e o tremendo apoio que recebi de todos em All Saints Kingsway e do incrível grupo de High Park. Meu motivo para publicar este post é lembrar a todos que estamos todos travando uma batalha que os outros não conhecem e espero que com isso eu possa ajudar pessoas como eu que podem estar passando pela mesma ou pior situação que estão medo de sair.
