Yesterday morning Premier Brian Pallister responded to us by thanking small businesses for closing. We appreciate the acknowledgement. However, "Thank-You's", and a promise that, "we'll get through this", don't pay the mortgages of sole-proprietors who are forced to close. Many are ineligible for the Bridge Grant or any other government benefits. Manitoba small business owners agree that: 1.) The income of every Manitoban is essential. 2.) We don’t have to choose between busi...ness and public safety we can have both. Our businesses can operate safely and responsibly by implementing the same protocol used by the businesses which remain open.
