A big shout out to our amazing super-volunteer Bruce Patriquin (Susan Patriquin). Earlier this summer, an old Free Agent BMX bike was returned to MBMX that had been given to a young rider a number of years ago as part of the Broken Spoke program. They wanted to make sure the bike was passed on to a family who could use it who didn't have a bike. The bike was well-loved and needed a lot of TLC. Bruce went out of his way to give this bike a new life - he gave it a full tune-up and painted it and it was given new tubes to make it ready for a new family. Yesterday the bike was donated on behalf of MBMX to a boy in a family in need through Home Suite Hope. Thanks for making this happen Bruce!

Masks are encouraged for our volunteers, parents, riders and spectators when physical distancing is a challenge. We remind everyone to always keep appropriate distance between others not in your family or bubble throughout the park area. It is a privilege for us to be open during this pandemic. Thanks to everyone that joined us for our BMX Skills Clinic yesterday with our amazing NCCP certified coaches Jacob and Jesvy Paratholil. Despite a short weather delay, we got through all sessions. We truly enjoyed coaching our riders and everyone did awesome. Keep training hard! Hope to provide future coaching clinics. Thanks to Mav, John and Tim for all your supports.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS TOMORROW! COACHING UPDATE - Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, Coach Curtis Krey is unable to attend the clinics on Saturday. However, we are very pleased to announce we will have Milton BMX NCCP certified coach JESVY PARATHOLIL coaching in his place alongside his son, Milton BMX NCCP certified coach JACOB PARATHOLIL. Saturday, October 10... Novice session 1: 4 pm to 5 pm Novice session 2: 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm Intermediate session: 6:30 pm to 7:30pm Expert Session: 7:45pm to 8:45pm $20 per rider per session is due on arrival at the clinic. Registration deadline is Thursday, October 8. 20 spots maximum per clinic.
