It’s MONDAAAAYYYY by’s!!! A new week means new challenges but also new opportunities. This particular Monday also signals the start of the @bdc_ca Small Business Week which will run all week long! This week has a lot in store and we’re very excited indeed to be partnering the BDC in this week long event. Today, Newfoundland and Labrador Public Health announced changes to traveler vaccine requirements to the province as of September 30, 2021. Service NL announced more details on the mandatory Vaccine Passport that will be launched next week. A vaccine passport is a certified record that provides proof of vaccination for a certain purpose (e.g. enabling access to travel or a business.) The vaccine record can be digital, such as a QR code (as seen in the image above) or physic...al, such as a small paper card. Businesses will have to verify residents vaccination status through a visual check of persons vaccination record or by using the verifier app on a mobile device, such as a smart phone or tablet to scan the persons QR code. Once scanned the verifier app will indicate if the person is fully vacationed and can enter your business or venue. Service NL will be announcing more information next week once the apps are ready for download.
