This is Zander Wallin. He is a swimmer in our Brandon programming. This young man has more heart and determination then most kids that have had to face life long challenges. Thank You Cameron Krisko When Cam founded this organization as Making Waves Winnipeg back in 2011, he started out by improving the lives of ten swimmers and ten volunteers. Nearly ten years later, Swimmingly provides one-on-one swimming and water safety instruction to over 300 swimmers with exceptional needs throughout the province of Manitoba. None of this expansion would have been imaginable without Cam’s vision and enthusiasm. Cam’s commitment and dedication to Swimmingly ...are unparalleled, his efforts tireless, and his passion and drive are boundless. Simply put, without Cam’s involvement the children within our communities would not have the opportunity to take part in such an amazing program. Hundreds of children with exceptional needs, as well as their families and the volunteer swim instructors they are paired with, have benefitted from participation in the Swimmingly program. We are grateful for Cam’s dedication to the success of Swimmingly in Manitoba. Though he will always be around to lend a helping hand to the organization, we thank Cam for his decade of commitment to Swimmingly and wish him all the best in his future. On behalf of past and present swimmers, families, volunteers, board members and staff, we wish to express sincere gratitude to Cameron Krisko for all he has done to establish, develop and champion Swimmingly over the past ten years. We are very excited to announce that our 7th Annual Swimmingly Gala will now be held virtually on Thursday, November 5, 2020! Tickets for our virtual gala are only $140. This includes a delicious steak dinner delivered straight to your front door! ... Chop Steakhouse and Bar will be preparing a Prime Rib Dinner, which includes: Starter Caesar Salad and Dessert; Prime Rib served with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, as well as Au Jus and Freshly Grated Horseradish (Vegetarian option: Tomato Basil Linguine (can also be made Vegan if requested)); and Wine supplied by Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries While you enjoy your dinner at home, you can participate in our Virtual Auction which will go live on November 5 at 6:00pm and will run until November 12 at 6:00pm.
