DOH WALK-IN COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC DATES The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH) is reminding the community of the next COVID-19 vaccine w...alk-in clinic dates. Any adult Akwesasronon (age 18 years or older) is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Non-native spouses of community members residing in Akwesasne, and Akwesasronon/First Nations people residing in the City of Cornwall, are eligible to receive the vaccine. The dates for COVID-19 vaccine walk-in clinics are as follows: Wednesday, April 21, 2021: St. Regis Recreation Centre 2:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2021: A’nowara’ko:wa Arena 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021: Tsi Snaihne Recreation Centre 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. Community members who had vaccine appointments that had been previously booked, these appointments will still occur. Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive early, please wait in your vehicle until staff inform you to enter the clinic. For more information on the Department of Health’s vaccine process, or if you have questions regarding your eligibility to receive a vaccine, please contact the MCA Community Health Program at 613-575-2341.

DOH OFFERING TRANSPORTATION TO COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH) is offering arranged transportation to the w...alk-in vaccine clinics at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena, for anyone interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. The clinics are being held on April 16-17, 2021 from 9AM - 3PM. The Akwesasne Non-Insured Health Program’s Medical Transportation will arrange transport to and from the clinic from any of the three MCA districts, or from the City of Cornwall. To arrange transportation, please contact Jillian Roundpoint at 613-575-2341 ext. 3352.

DOH ANNOUNCES WALK-IN COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC DATES AT A’NOWARA’KO:WA ARENA The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH) will be hosting a COVID...-19 vaccine walk-in clinic on Friday, April 16, and Saturday, April 17 at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena, from 9 a.m. 3 p.m., or until supplies last. The walk-in vaccine clinic will be open to all community members of Akwesasne, non-native spouses of Akwesasronon, and Akwesasronon & First Nations people residing in the City of Cornwall on a first-come, first-serve basis. An appointment is not necessary for the walk-in vaccine clinics. When arriving for the walk-in clinic, you will be required to pass a COVID-19 screening and complete a vaccine consent form. A mask is required, and public health guidelines must be followed at all times when in the vaccine clinic. Please be patient with staff and exhibit courtesy when in the vaccine clinic.
