We highly recommend tuning in to Logan and Nathan's album release show this Friday (April 24), streaming live via Facebook and Instagram 7:00PM PST! The freak-folk duo played McArthur Castle a couple years ago and it was pretty much the funnest time ever. We had planned to have them back this spring until the world shut down, but this is a great alternative way to support what they do and hear some new tunes in what is sure to be a memorable performance. A lot can change in such a short time! Here's Big Little Lions performing "I Can Have It All" at McArthur Castle just a few weeks ago. Can't wait to eventually gather face-to-face and experience music as a crowd again. For now, we hope you're all keeping safe and sane out there!

It will likely come as no surprise that our Mar. 27 event with ursidae and Cain Price has been unfortunately cancelled due to current health concerns. We hope to reschedule for a later date, and will keep you posted if that does occur. In the meantime, everyone please take extra special care of yourselves and each other!

It's the return of ursidae! Some of you may have seen the Vancouver musician at McArthur Castle when she and Laura Reznek stopped by back in 2018. Or perhaps you caught her performance with Porteau at The Art We Are last spring. She is no stranger to Kamloops, and we are incredibly excited to have her back! Joining her this time is electro-folk artist Cain Price. Tickets on sale now through Side Door!

Congratulations Tim Baker, Adyn Townes, and Madison Violet! Each of these brilliant past performers of McArthur Castle has been nominated in this year’s East Coast Music Awards. Well-deserved, everybody!

FACT: One out of every two owners and operators of McArthur Castle lives with a diagnosed mental illness. As such, we greatly appreciate initiatives like #BellLetsTalk day, which aims to raise funding and awareness for mental health support in Canada while reducing the stigma surrounding it. It’s also one of several reasons we are thrilled to be hosting Big Little Lions, whose recent release, Inside Voice, takes on topics around mental health but in a way that leaves the listener feeling optimistic and understood. We hope you will join us for their performance here on March 10. In the meantime, please look out for one another, and consider having a mental health conversation of your own!
