Take note, it is spring and all groomers are having this walk through the door. It takes a great deal of work and expertise to very carefully remove this pelt. In this case the owner took custody from a rescue 2 months ago. I assured them this did not transpire in a two month period. To get to this state takes much more than 2 months. Regular appointment with your groomer is important. We work together( owner, groomer and veterinarian ) in the best interests of your pet! Matting does hurt your dog... let’s work together to help your dog be comfortable and healthy. PS this dogs new owners will be diligent with her health and wellness. She is s very lucky dog!!

It has come to my attention because I own/operate a kennel and I sell food that we can there by groom dogs. Might be true... might not be. Im going to tell you why I choose NOT to. I love my community both Winkler and Morden. I choose to be part of the community that is being proactive to protect and serve it properly. I love my family, my staff and my clients. Not one of which I would want to accidentally pass this along to. Last but not least I choose to close in solidarity to my fellow groomer friends who can not stay open. We are an army lets work together to fight this invisible enemy. Stay home and wash your hands. Its only 2 weeks ... we can do THIS.

WE ARE OPEN This is all so surreal ... isn't it!?.. Watching the world go crazy over toilet paper and then.... become so quiet! We closed the kennel building down. There are no guests to fill the suites it was economically correct to do so. The barn is still open for emergencies, day or over night excursions. Spring is right around the corner and Im sure your dog(s) are in need of a spring clean up. We are taking extra precautions to protect you and ourselves through this. Please no cheques or cash. All door knobs, debit machine etc. are sanitized after each use. Please cancel your appointment if you are coughing or not feeling well. In short we are OPEN until we get a directive to do otherwise. God Bless and stay safe!

This means it’s a do NOT go for a long walk with your dog day. Do NOT leave your dog or cat outside for extended periods of time. Chances are pretty good many small dogs will go on strike and poop inside today... and probably tomorrow too !!! Stay warm!
