Do you want wood chips and logs? We are preparing a map of people wanting wood chips and logs in Alberta. Sometimes its too far to go to our usual dump site so we prefer to give to you for free, delivery included. Youll receive an entire dump truck worth of wood chips, which can be as much as 10 cubic yards, approximately. There is no way to request a specific amount; you wont know how much youre getting until it shows up. It could be as little as 4 yards.... A typical load contains about 50% wood chips and 50% green, leafy material or pine needles. About 5% of the load is often unchipped brush, small sticks, and maybe a few scoops of dirt or gravel. If youre interested in wood chips and/or logs, please PM us your name, phone number and address. Please do not expect a delivery in the next few days, it will depend on where well be when the trucks are full. So it might be weeks or months for some. We will call you before showing up. If you have noticed the disappearance of a giant poplar tree from Allan Close, we are the ones who removed it. Many companies didnt want to touch it because it was deemed too dangerous and unclimbable by them. Oh well, challenge accepted! Mike had a lot of fun climbing on it and took 2 days to cut it down. It wasnt easy, dont get me wrong. It took a lot of work, coordination and reflection but its so rewarding when its all done. Especially satisfying to see the owner so... relieved and sporting a big smile since his backyard is now safe for his children and grandkids. As people and their governments are trying to figure out how to ease back in to a new normal, please remember: Some people dont agree with the reopening.... thats okay. Be kind. Some people are still planning to stay home.... thats okay. Be kind.... Some are still scared of getting the virus and a second wave happening....thats okay. Be kind. Some are sighing with relief to go back to work knowing they may not lose their business or their homes....thats okay. Be kind.
