Third generation farmer Greg McCracken of Alnwick Township was thrilled to welcome Gigit, Gracie and Gypsy- beef heifer triplets born last month. McCracken, who... runs a registered Charolais herd of 60 cows, went to the barn on March 22 and discovered the three new calves. Donna Bevan, who submitted the photo to #OntFarmerNews, said the calves are doing well. "We have been successful in getting all three to nurse. Our neighbours at Webb View Farms have been so generous in supplying a dairy cow to assist in feeding three hungry young ladies," Donna said. The triplet's mama Shardon Xhale 6X and was born in January 2010. The sire is Cedardale Daytona 22D born in January 2016. #RealLifeFarmers #OntAg
