Thank you for keeping the flow of donations and sales going these days If you were to travel from shop to shop (if only, eh?) and take a look at the behind-the-scenes activities happening you would find volunteers sorting donations, cleaning, re-stocking shelves, taking photos of current items to post online, filling online orders, and in some locations even doing personal shopping for you. * Due to quickly changing provincial/regional pandemic restrictions it is always best to contact your local MCC Thrift shop for the most up-to-date information regarding shopping and donation hours.

"MCC is extremely thankful for every MCC Thrift Volunteer. The skills, time and dedication of volunteers is illustrated each time a shop sends a financial gift ...to MCC. It takes many hands to make a thrift shop work hands that clean and price items, display merchandise on the sales floor, greet customers to complete sales, and meet as board members to carry out governance and legal duties. Each volunteer is special and MCC appreciates these volunteers every single day!" - Sarah Fleming, MCC Central States Thrift Shop Coordinator Moreover, despite all the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, MCC Thrift Shop management and staff have really worked hard to maintain a sense of community with volunteers and customers. We continue to value this this commitment and are forever grateful. Thank you. #mccpeace #mccThrift #mccThriftShop #VolunteerAppreciationWeek
Mother’s Day. A day that means many different things to many different people. For us here at MCC Thrift, it’s a day where we’re especially thankful for all of the mothers (and mother figures) who care for the people in their lives while finding time to shop, donate and volunteer at MCC Thrift shops across Canada + the US. Wherever you are today and whatever this day means to you, we hope you are feeling loved
