Last night was a huge success. We handed out loads of candy canes, a Gens fan walked away with a John Tavares jersey, and we raised $800! for the Denise house. Yesterday we mentioned we will be behind section 109 this Friday to meet our fellow Gens fans, and to hand out candy canes for the holiday season. We decided to add to our table. We will be raffling off an authentic John Tavares Leafs jersey. Ballots will be $2 each, and all proceeds will go to the Denise House Oshawa. Being in the snow clearing business I watch the weather often, and seeing the weather for today I delayed knowing many families would not go to the game, and the tickets would go to waste. I have just received confirmation that today’s game has officially been cancelled by the OHL, and the Oshawa Generals. I will do the draw once I receive word on w...hen today’s game will be made up.
