It is not necessarily hiking but an invitation to engage your five senses, stop and to observe. What can you see? touch?smell? heareven taste? Hello Everyone - We understand that this is a very difficult for everyone and we would like to support those who are feeling overwhelmed. With social distancing, people may also feel socially isolated. Therefore, at McDowall Integrative Psychology & Healthcare (McDowall), we would like to offer FREE COUNSELLING sessions to those individuals in need. In order to support anyone who is struggling at this time, we would like to offer up to 3 sessions of counselling (via teleme...dicine) free of charge during this crisis to anyone who is financially unable to seek therapy. Please note these spots are limited due to our limited availability, therefore we will be screening clients in order to offer our services to individuals who normally would not have access to seek our support. We also would like to encourage everyone to please use this time wisely. Not only can we use this time to reconnect with our immediate family, we can use the time for healing - to slow down, to reflect and to just breath. In fact, one of the simplest ways to improve our mental health is to get more SLEEP! We have become a sleep deprived culture - so please use this time to restore and recover. Our minds and bodies need this for our immune system and for optimal health. Our team at McDowall are committed to your health and well-being.
