My apologies everyone. Apparently I haven't progressed past yellow belt because last night I couldn't tell the difference between a high punch and a middle punch nor could I remember that Dan-Gun isn't Do-San. Ugh. I guess my brain was frozen.

In case you were wondering, would the spinning kicks that we do in class work in world class competitions? They sure do.

For the last couple of weeks, we've been practicing a drill where we take a couple of steps back, goading your opponent in and finishing with a reverse punch. Here it is working in the UFC. Watch Machida at around the :36 mark.

Hello, I am disappointed to announce that we will be temporarily suspending our programs until December 17 at which time we will re-evaluate based on the information from the provincial Chief Medical Health Officer. We will be exploring virtual classes on Zoom. More details to follow.
