The next lecture for the Pan-Canada Lecture Series will be Thursday, November 19 (today!) at 6 pm with award-winning and internationally recognised architect Anupama Kundoo. Her research-oriented practice focuses on material research, low environmental impact, and pays special attention to socio-economic contexts. Kundoo has built extensively in India and has had the experience of working, researching, and teaching in a variety of cultural contexts across the world. See you t...here! La prochaine conférence de la série de conférences pancanadiennes aura lieu le jeudi 19 novembre (aujourd'hui !) à 18 heures avec l'architecte primée et reconnue internationalement Anupama Kundoo. Sa pratique orientée vers la recherche se concentre sur la recherche de matériaux, le faible impact environnemental et accorde une attention particulière aux contextes socio-économiques. Kundoo a beaucoup construit en Inde et a eu l'expérience de travailler, de faire des recherches et d'enseigner dans divers contextes culturels à travers le monde. A bientôt !

Students are encouraged to register and participate in the 2020 CCA Charrette, which will launch on Th. Nov. 12 at 12:00 pm (submission deadline on Mo. Nov. 16, 10:00 am). One of the most important idea competitions for students in Canada, this year's charrette will tackle the theme of "new interactions between night and day in the city". BAS: Teams of 2 to 5 students / M.Arch.: Teams of 2 to 3 students. Detailed instructions will be provided at the launch (online) and part...icipants will then have 3.5 days to come up with the best design and idea. It is a great opportunity to develop your design and representation skills and measure up to other students from across the country. The charrette is completely bilingual and you can submit in French and/or English. Registration is free (from Oct. 30 to Nov.12) and can be done online at www.cca.qc.ca/charrette/2020/ --- Les étudiants sont encouragés à s'inscrire et à participer à la Charrette 2020 du CCA, qui sera lancée le jeudi 12 novembre à 12h00 (date de remise le 16 novembre à 10h00).
