I am looking forward to seeing this body of work on display at Gallery 78 later this week. It is also an honour to be showing alongside artist Anna Syperek--whose paintings and printmaking works I have admired for some time. There will be a digital preview starting tomorrow on the gallery website. Hopefully many of you will be able to see the work in person this month. For my part of this duo show, I am featuring many of the works that were part of an artist-in-residency with BiotaNB 2019 when we explored the Kennedy Lakes Protected Natural Area.

The latest addition to the Kennedy Lakes series of paintings...

Hello folks...I hope everyone is doing well! I realize that it has been awhile since I posted here to my artist page on Facebook. The art educator side of my life had been keeping me super busy, and I was not finding any extra time for social media. It was enough just to find time to paint when I could. I have been picking away at some new paintings, and have decided to share some images of a new series I am working on based on the Kennedy Lakes Protected Natural Area (PNA) i...n central New Brunswick. In summer 2019, I participated in BiotaNB as part of an artist-in residency to explore this PNA. I am hoping to return in August 2020 if it is safe to do so (we will have to see what the directives are at that time in our fight against Covid-19). I am thankful to have been invited by the New Brunswick Museum to be a part of this. Stay tuned for more paintings to come in this series.
