A FOCUS GROUP STUDY INVITE Dear MSW students, ... We invite you to participate in a focus group for a study that aims to learn about social work students’ experience of, and perspectives on, training and learning social justice and culturally competent practice (SJCCP) in social work. This study is part of a four-year project that focuses on developing effective self-directed online training modules to develop SJCCP in social work students. The project is led by professor Eunjung Lee from the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work (FIFSW) at the University of Toronto. The focus group will be hosted via Zoom and last for about 90 minutes. We will invite you to share your understanding of social justice and culturally competent practice, your learning experience, and your recommendations, as social work students, for the development of the e-learning modules. Each participant will receive a $30 gift card upon the completion of the focus group. If you are interested, you may learn more about the study by clicking the link below. The link also includes information for you to give consent and sign up for the study. https://utorontofsw.qualtrics.com/j/form/SV_6RKdDDm9UF4apCu If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our research coordinator, Ran Hu at [email protected]. Thank you for considering joining the study! SJCCP e-learning research team
