Discover Art on the Ave: a family affair from McGill to NYC Join mother-daughter duo Barbara Anderson, BA’91, BEd'93, and Jackie Graham, BA’16, for a conversation about their popular public arts exhibition in New York City. The McGill alumnae are showcasing the work of 27 artists - all local New Yorkers - in vacant storefronts along the bustling thoroughfare. The goal is to expose local talent, while making use of the currently vacant spaces, beautifying the area and bringing newfound artistic flare to the street. Register here: http://ow.ly/JI9B50E9ObI

"To flourish in global business and in a man’s world, I had to develop my own brand of confidence. One thing I learned early on in my career is that you can’t c...ount on things to happen, on decisions to be made, or on opportunities to arrive. You have to go out and make them happen." Recipient of the #MTEA Friend of McGill in Toronto Award, Kathleen (Katie) Taylor sets an inspiring example for the McGill community in Toronto as one of the most successful executives in the hospitality and banking industries, and a passionate advocate for gender equality. Full story at link below In addition to her role as Chair of the Board of RBC the first woman to hold the position at a major Canadian bank Katie is a proud McGill parent who volunteers her time and considerable expertise to support the University’s mission. "I believe that McGill is an institution that shapes resilient and authentic leaders who are determined to make things happen and to create positive change in their fields." #MbM #MadebyMcGill #McGillAlumni #McGillU
