Check out this upcoming event from Girls Living Out Loud MTL! :) "Girls Living Out Loud MTL, has been designed to develop a community for young women and girls in Quebec, and eventually throughout Canada, by providing REAL LIFE role models and influencers, to not just educate through the Social Media Lens, but hearing and learning about their real life struggles and achievements in person, through storytelling, workshops, activations and monthly engagements. We aim to provid...e the summit participants with tools, open up real conversations, and empower this generation of girls to be the best possible version of themselves. This year, the day long event will take place on May 4th at the Bonaventure Hotel and will feature a number of amazing speakers, engaging workshops, lunch and a pop-up village showcasing talented local female entrepreneurs. Tickets are now available through eventbrite at https://www.glolmtl.com https://www.glolmtl.com/

Check out this event from our friends at McGill Students for UN Women ! Come hang with us Thursday, March 28th from 7:00pm-10:00pm at Espace POP for our art show "Exploring Femininity!" Drop by and listen to some music while snacking and looking at great art! The exhibit will feature student artwork exploring the theme of femininity and what it means to them.... This art show is to benefit Women On the Rise, an organization committed to supporting low income and single mothers with young children. Accessibility info: there is a gender-neutral bathroom at the event. Unfortunately, there are some steps to get into the venue. This is an all-ages event. This event is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We honour, recognize and respect these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we meet today.
