In light of the Premier's announcement made on May 14th, 2020 and in accordance with our Public Health Unit, our campground will remain closed until June 1st, 2020. We will only be opening for seasonal campers. We regret to inform you that there will be no transient camping for the 2020 season. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you next year. Stay safe and healthy. April

Good morning. I am saddened to be writing this post on what is supposed to be opening day for us here at McGowan Lake. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our park will remain closed until June 1st, 2020 and this date could be extended if emergency measures are still in place. Please stay safe and stay home now so we can hopefully see each other again soon. April

In a follow up to the recent court decision regarding the Small Business Tax Deduction, the Ontario Private Campground Association and myself have created a standardized letter that campers can amend and e-mail/mail to their MP and running candidates. I encourage anyone who enjoys camping to take part in this movement with the upcoming election. We need everyone to do this to help make this successful. Now is the time!
