Dear MCHS Families: Well, I must say that was an awesome response from our families in terms of what was shared for Christmas cooking/baking. Wow, talk about amazing dishes, everything looked so good! Thank you all for taking the time to send in your photos so we could share with our school community what folks are doing to occupy their time during the pandemic. I'm sure it inspired many others to do something similar.... Congratulations as well to the following students who will receive two movie passes each to Cineplex. Thanks again to the Kitzan family for their generous donation and giving us the ability to tie a few prizes to our submission of photos from families. The following students will receive two movie passes each: 1. Skylar Boissonnault 2. Rachel Fraser 3. Sophia Soria 4. Faith Melnychuk 5. Mhairi Anne Ritchie To avoid having families come to the school, we will mail movie passes to families from the last two photo challenges. For the next challenge, we are asking people to share any type of decorating with us. Maybe it's the inside or outside of your house. Maybe, it's your Christmas tree. Maybe you decorated your younger brother or sister or even yourself. Maybe you even decorated your pets. Whatever folks are willing to share we are happy to get. Please make sure you only share photos you are comfortable with as these will be shared on our social media accounts. GSACRD Voice wants you to have ‘Snow Much Fun’ over the Christmas break! We have put together bundles of activities for different age groups (elementary, jr. high, and high school). All supplies are included in the bundle and it is absolutely free. Many of the activities can be done individually or in a group. We recommend one bundle per family, but understand if you have a few students of different ages in your home and you register for more than one. Please see our poster ...for more information on the type of activities provided.
