I took this picture of Nessie the other day and thought, Wow! Shes really grown. I know some of you had the chance to meet her at the market last year. From that little fluff ball to this and shes still got some growing to do! Nessie came to us with very little trust in humans because she was born with a flock of sheep as her mother was their guardian. Born in the mountains with very little human contact and a very strong fight response because of predators. She has grown... into this beautiful well rounded dog ( with the proper socialization and training). Very much part of our family, great with new people now and wonderful with kids. Although she didn't loose any of her guardian instincts! Which makes her a great fit here on our farm with all the animals we have running loose and a bush full of coyotes across the road. She is a Caucasian shepherd the same breed as our male because I know people will ask . . . #caucasianshepherd #gaurddogs #guardian #farmdogs
