The Administrator here will have big shoes to fill, replacing a long serving leader. The Administrator at this home has a great supportive management team and solid, stable staff . This is a highly respected, well-run care home where patient centred care and ensuring a home-like environment for the residents who live is of utmost importance. Summary: Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Administrator is responsible for the effective operational management of the facility in order to ensure that a high standard of care is maintained for the residents. The Administrator implements the policies and directives of organization and ensures that the facility’s responsibilities are met as determined by relevant legislation and regulations. Experience working within a unionized environment would be an asset. Qualifications: Must be eligible for License with the College of Practical Nurses of BC. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a management position in health administration which includes are least two (2) years related to care of intermediate or long term care residents.
