Our new medical director Dr. Lorenza with the very handsome Jake the Snake that came in today with his wonderful mom @caros_wonderwall for a wellness exam We absolutely love exotics here at McKnight and Dr. Lorenza loves seeing them all!

Late on February 16 a young puppy presenting with symptoms of parvovirus (https://www.avma.org/public/PetCare//canine-parvovirus.aspx) arrived at our hospital. Test results confirmed the puppy had the virus. Treatment of the virus is expensive and as his owner was unable to pay for his treatment, after consultation with the vet on duty, the owner surrendered the puppy to the clinic. The puppy is now under the care of a rescue organization where he will be treated for this disease and we hope will make a full recovery.

Friday Case of the Week. Brought to you by Bob the Kitten and Dr Skinners super skills! Little Bob is only 7 days old and was brought in for a laceration on his neck.
