Hey hey, Look it’s a hat! I just published this new hat pattern to Ravelry and I’m so excited to share it with you. This is a fun and quick knit that is great for trying out different techniques and textures. We have some Berroco Ultra Wool Chunky and Estelle Chunky in stock if you want to try it. You can purchase the pattern on its own but if you buy the yarn for this project from McKnitterson’s, you get the pattern for free! Link is below. What’s up Wednesday! Hello friends! I missed a couple weeks as I was cramming in all the classes and errands I could before the provincial stay-at-home orders came into effect. I know I don’t have to tell you that the emotional rollercoaster is exhausting. I hope you are all being gentle with yourselves and taking the time you need to do the the little things that bring you joy...like knitting! (Or not knitting. You are not alone if you haven’t felt like picking up the needl...es, trust me, and that is OKAY!) So this week I’ve been up to my eyeballs in new needles and some beautiful new yarns. I will be going over both in more detailed posts in the next couple of days. Here’s a sneak peek! Also, I finished something! Hooray! This is my Reunion Cardi by Brienne Moody. It also needs a post of its own as it definitely has been on a journey. I love it so much though I wanted to give you a quick look. I honestly tried to do a self portrait but it was...an exercise in frustration. If only Daisy could learn photography. I’ll hopefully get some action shots in the weekend. I will say this pattern is lovely, the sweater is lovely, the knitting is simple and soothing. (Brienne is lovely and soothing too.) I’ll be sending out info on putting kits together if you want to try it out. Great beginner cardigan. I will definitely try to keep in touch more often. It seems more important than ever these days. What’s up...Thursday! Wednesday blew past me again this week. We are beyond thrilled to have our beloved students back in and time does indeed fly when you are having fun. What else have we been up to? The 2000 piece puzzle is finished! We got a cute needle felting book in the mail from my brother in Thunder Bay. ... Birthday celebration with some of our favourite friends. I’m on the last few inches of the sleeve of my sweater. And of course, enjoying this spring weather!
