The Superstars Charolais sale in Saskatoon, SK is right around the corner (Saturday Nov. 28) and we are excited to be consigning two lots to this great event. Our first lot will be two exclusive semen packages on LT Authority 7229, the $160,000 record setting bull from the 2018 LT Ranch Bull Sale. This Homo Polled sire is in the top 2% of the breed for Birth Weight and Calving ease while still providing deep-bodied, hairy, highly functional and stylish offspring. The proof of that is in our second lot on offer, CML Desirae 26H, the first offspring to sell in Canada out of LT Authority 7229. To give the kids every opportunity to win some prizes and get their cattle in the ring, we have made a slight alteration to the schedule. We will be having a double-header show! Show 1 - Saturday, August 29... The idea is to have an event for any Charolais kid who wants to attend, and to do it in a way that is covid-safe. Everyone is welcome to bring travel trailers and tents to camp overnight at our facilities and we ask that everyone bring generators, as power is limited. We also have wash racks and many turnout pens and stalls for the cattle overnight. This event will be hosted in a covered, open air facility and we plan to have the showmanship and conformation in an outdoor show ring (with indoor facilities available should Mother Nature not cooperate). While we all enjoy a good competition, the main goal is for the kids to HAVE FUN!
