I have been told that people are having difficulty accessing the memorial page we set up through St. Michael's Hospital. For those of you who would like to give in memory of Ernie visit http://smh.convio.net/site/TR/Events/General or call St. Michael’s Foundation at 416.864.5000. If you prefer, there is also an option to support the mission work that Ernie planned to continue through St. Paul's On The Hill Mission Fund, Pickering, Attention: Canon K. Beard. The kids and I ...thank you for all your support over the past few weeks. Deb McMackin See more

Taken during a performance at a classic studio.
One of my fav. shots. I feel like the trees are going to close in on me.
This picture was taken right from the car. No walking needed. Old barns say a lot about the area's history.
Sometimes we end up in the wrong place for the right reason, but not this time. This picture was captured on a trip that was well planned out. From...2011
"Mazurka"... Another incredible tutu from Something Special Tutu's and Dance Costumes.

Entry #5 from the Dec. contest "Shy!" Well done! Just a reminder that we only allow comments of encouragement. Negative feedback is no help to our upcoming photographers and will be removed if noticed. With that in mind, please feel free to add in any positive encouragement, and like every picture that you like. Thanks, McMackin Photography

When a pet becomes a friend.
Good luck to all Five of our photographers! I know that you all can do well with this challenge.
There is another competition this month, and the topic is " Three pictures of inanimate objects that express an emotion or feelings. Every entry per photographer must demonstrate a different feeling or emotion. There are 5 photographers involved and the ages vary from 14 to 75ish. The rule is that no names can be noted, nor can a photographer mention to anyone what pictures are theirs. Only positive comments will be kept on the album. All negative comments will be deleted rig...ht away. We do not wish to shame any photographers. Just to help them to explore their potentials. All photographers need to email me with their three pictures at "[email protected]" before boxing day, and I will publish the pictures as a part of this album. All judging will be done by myself and a guest judge who is an established photographer from the central northern parts of Ontario. As in the past, McMackin Photography encourages all positive comments. Please feel welcome to like any or all of the pictures that our upcoming professionals post. See more
We all have the ability to build a brick wall around us to keep out the busy distractions of life. Inside our wall, we can always find a spot where our thoughts are clear and secure. A particular warmth and glow from life's cold hard realities. Hopefully this picture demonstrates that comfort zone. An example of how a picture of inanimate objects that express an emotion or feeling.

Great Tutu Patti!
Chelsea, Thank you very much for taking time from your very busy schedule to help out with my contest as the honorary judge. As a respected professional photographer, your input will help to inspire myself and the three junior photographers to reach for higher levels. Your input has already placed smiles of confidence on us all. I will be adding the initials of the photographers to all six of the pictures so they will soon be able to see who took what pictures. I would not be surprised to hear of their own personal thank yous from each of them. Thanks again Chelsea. Please take a moment and visit Chelsea’s web site at http://www.chelsealynnphotography.ca/
Please note that this might be the last chance to give a positive comment on a picture that you admire from our "Fall Contest" Our jr. photographers would like to hear from you, and it may help Chelsea with her decisions! I hope that you can find the time to view the pictures. Thank you all very much! Ernie. McMackin.
We welcome positive comments only!
