Shout out to Atlas Machinery for the best customer service by Jeff and an excellent curbside pickup team today! This little DEWALT cutie is actually a beast. I put a chamfer bit full height through some hard maple for a test run, it didn’t change it’s tune in the least! Just ordered the plunge base as an afterthought and got the call it’s already waiting.. thanks guys

If you’ve never worked hemlock, it’s brutal - really brittle and the flat sawn boards need lots of attention to get them exposed .. this is more of some local old growth that made its way into a table top.

If there is one must have tool, it’s a decent impact driver. Drills like a demon and handles every screw and bolt like it owns them

Done for the day! This is an 1870’s table so 150 and the ash is old growth so maybe 400-500? Pleasure to see it show again
