microsoft error 80070539 occurs when your update fails for windows 7. It is caused by google desktop software. Mine was installed on March 18. Updates kept failing. Solution is uninstall google desktop and everything works.
Is your system running slow? - check the virtual ram compared to the installed ram. If you have 3 GB installed - virtual should be 1.5 times the real + 500 mb = 5 GB in this case. Make the MAX 500 mb more.
