How often can I plump my lips with fillers? This young lady came to me 6 months after having her first lip filler treatment. It was done by myself and she was happy with the result immediately after, however she found that 6 months post treatment, the top lip lost the plump look. She came to me with a specific question: Can I top-up the filler at the 6 months mark?... The answer was yes, of course!! I did an assessment and almost 80 percent of the filler was gone, especially, being her first time to get lip fillers, we were conservative in the first treatment Also the lip fillers we use at our clinic are absorbable. This means that the filler material is naturally broken down by the body over time. Lip fillers are softer fillers and they are broken-down by the body, on average, in about 6-9 months.
